A poem that I wrote when I was thinking about how horrible love is.

Goodbye Forever

I still remember you're sweet smile,

That could be seen for a mile.

I still remember you're deep voice,

When you told me you're choice.

That night I was hurt,

For you had treated me like dirt.

I remember you saying that you loved me,

Now I am just wishing you would just leave me be.

You said you didn't want me anymore,

So just get up and walk out the door.

Goodbye forever,

You don't love me anymore.

I want you out of my life,

I loved and paid the price.

Now I feel nothing but sorrow,

Hoping for a better tomorrow.

You said you didn't want me anymore,

So just get up and walk out the door.

Goodbye forever,

You don't love me anymore.

I was so stupid to play your little game,

What you did to me was just lame.

I feel this sorrow now,

Wondering how?

How could you do this,

Casting me into this great abyss.

Full of heartbreak,

It's more than I can take.

You said you didn't want me anymore,

So just get up and walk out the door.

Goodbye forever,

You don't love me anymore.
