I still want you

and all your wantonness

I still love you

and all your loveliness

I will desire you

for all that you are desired

As the prisoner casts his freedom net

My senses will be fired

I will conspire to reach you

Above all other conspiracies

I will still seek you

Where others see hidden faces

I will teach you

The lessons to be taut

And as your lips part

Others will still not be caught

I will need you as I see you

Simple washed in fragrance

I will hold both hearts in part

Deep folding in dark elegance

I will sing you sweet with music

Play instruments across frost wires

As life consumes my distance

I will teach you what desire is.

Glad you like this one Rain. I hoped it was not too saccahrin.

After 30 years of teaching, you still want to.
This actually isn't a very simple poem. Love is never simple. *grrrrr

What an inspirational poem. Makes me wonder.

Depends on who I want to teach Ms Peach. I agree about what is never ever simple. Why don't we all give it up?
