Drawing what used to be and hope

Drawing dies/ the list of all you know/
A singing girl/ lies ensure you/ a country boy before you
sighs/
Whatever risk you take/ sing it now/ swallow fly
the weeping chords of clearing/ hearing/ snow geese now cry
Hopeless smudge the charcoal line/ the nature mark becomes the paste of time/
a work of dreaming what will become/ a world of scheming/ dread the lies of some/
the nature calling/ the safety falling/ away/
A choir of colour/ shifts your body/ so
Say the rest/ so what you know/ continue and may grow/
the strings of light/ compare what might be love/ or toy/
the picture comes/ to natural some/ destroy/
within the rest/ delight/ confess/ your hopes/ a little joy
flight become your lack/ lay your arching back/ enter the soft and warm/ decoy/
singing straight lines/drawing past times/ to adventure close/
reap the last/ hoping past/ suppose/
we had not met/ I have control and yet/
I love the thing/ where hopeless springs/
in single persistent lies/ we dry in passion/
creating fashion/ of all we cannot know/
oh love be young/ do no wrong/ say to your current flow/
dream your drawing life/ end this smallest strife/ of what has come too low
The bird migrates/ we come to hate/ where we are/ well known
