Sometimes it can come from near

Others, it's found only from afar

In the beginning, we all start as strangers

Locked somehow, in the impossible jar

It can come from anywhere, really

Sparks arising, out of any old dealie

Coming to find, we all start as strangers

The type of strangers, who are touchy and feely

Maybe met at a concert, or at the market

Even at your car, while you were parking it

Remembering deeply, we all start as strangers

Our hearts are like bullseyes, love is the target

Find out in this world, we are all connected

The tiniest seed, greatness can be erected

Never forget, we all start as strangers

A loving embrace, as good as can be expected

"You know him, I went to school with them."

This tangled web of life, which all that is stemmed

In the end, too, we all start as strangers

It is the stuff, that all relationships are hemmed
