"Iridescence of the Spirit"

Lady of the Winds, how dare ye?
Float as a lithe faerie queen,
Dance into my mystical stream,
and color for me my beloved dreams...

At your elven touch, the dark mantle cascades
In a sensual rush, the dim world fades
Memories blush in the golden moon's flame
My love and I swoon, as souls untamed

And so black and gold, fade to a color so bold
A scarlet of a lip's taint, a red of blood never cold
As the eclipse reigns, my soldier screams his last story
Of his glory followed closely by Memento Mori

Drums hum, rifles sing, and flags fly,
As his spirit drifts to Valhalla's skies!
Where silver gates open in battle cry
And a warrior's soul is dignified!

And so, Lady of the Winds, do you now see?
How feelings overtake eternity?
