The night is dark

Gone is the sound of the lark

All that i can hear is the sound of the crow

But inside it's much different for cupid shot me with his bow

Even though my surroundings are bleek

Because it's the only thing that comforts me

And through the darkness it's all I see

It guides me straight through the night

In a short while the day is in sight

You're within arms distance

The dawn comes with no assistance

And for a while it is day

Nothing obstructs my way

but then you leave

All I can do is greave

Swift as dagger the night does slash

When I hear you've been in a terrible crash

I'm plunged into eternal hell

For even though you're gone the wounds from cupids bow are not well
