Missing you
Moments of solitude and silent bliss, deficient of a touch or human kiss.
Contemplating your arms and gentleness, pining for distant sweet caress.
Hoping that distance wont blight fondness!
Desire asks why this has to be, when distance flogs togetherness
Between you and me.
Why could you not live across the road where I could open the front door and meet your face of merriment, such love.
Hope is no guarantee for me, in my minds eye you’ll ever be
Now I will close my weary eyes, drifting and floating till sunrise
Anticipating tenderness, where we will share a lustful kiss
Finally will I see your face, lock us together in oneness embrace!
