Why must love pass me shy
Thou see love passing day to day, from me love shy and faraway.
Thy time shalt thou bide in patient wait, invoking a lover, a trusted mate.
Can only imagine enchantment, charm, amidst some strong wide opened arms.
Though love bypassed this loveless soul, thou shalt be hopeful who will call.
Yea, thou shalt court a melody, rich in words and empathy
That touches the canals of loves heart, brains..
For love is not unkind, and love knows my pain
I watch as others bliss bewray, alas bewail in jealousy
Hearken unto ye who be free, hast thou no time or space for me.
Must thou resign to walls of confine, an item unwanted
What is my crime?
As lovers smooch I watch, sigh, for loveless is who thou hast become.
Tell me in my sorrow, why must love pass me shy.
