It's time for a new one, I guess
Let's hope it's original, at best
I am one that is like no other
The one you were warned about from your father and mother

You can trust me - I'm nice enough
You don't believe me - then call my bluff
I'll promise you the world and treat you like gold
I'll love you forever - even when we grow old

It's my treat when we go out for dinner
When we play Yahtzee you'll always be the winner
I'll never cheat on you or tell you lies
You'll know the truth because I'll look you in the eyes

Don't worry though - it's all about to change
I'll stop calling you and start acting strange
You'll call me and call me, but I never pick up the phone
You'll think I have been turned into an evil clone

When you say I love you, I do not reply
I just shrug it off and then say goodbye
You'll cry your eyes out and ask me what's wrong
I'll tell you "nothing" - this was me all along

You'll beg me, plead with me to change
"I'm sorry" is the only thing I can arrange
You should've listened to your parents from the start
Now you're stuck here - lonely and with a broken heart
