This night I leave your heart, I leave it forever

I leave it in sadness, I leave it in darkness

While your tender naked body lays on the bed where we shared our love

My soul is being consumed in feelings of guilt

You sleep so peacefully, so calm

Yet in my wake I'm feeling such despair, such frustration
