Making me bend
To take my will
Making me hold
Hold and stay still
Making me forget
But not be changed
Making me wild
And not so tamed
Making me angry
With every word that is said
Making me sad
Until it turns to lead
Making me see
That what’s said is so true
Making me wish
That I was with you
Making me stay
Bound with these ropes
Making me high
With only false hopes
Making me say
What I wish for the most
Making me dream
That I am with you on the coast
It may have broken my will
And forbidden my freedom
But what it’ll never take
Is my memories
Of how I felt around you
