Where We Met

First meeting followed by proposal

I arrived at the car
But couldn't go far.
My keys were lost,
Must find at all cost.
This manly voice spoke,
'Twas a handsome bloke.
'Young lady, excuse me,
You dropped your key.
In the shopping store,
It dropped on the floor'.
I was swept off my feet,
Coming over all sweet.
Fell in love at first sight,
Everything felt so right.
Hence we made a date.
Really must not be late.
We meet at the park
We kissed in the dark.
In the restaurant to dine.
Us, sipping the red wine.
Hands held, he did propose
And I, given the red rose.
With such joy to express
My reply came as YES.
Yes, yes, to my Valentine.
