He touched my hand he touched my heart
it came the time we had to part
but there was no laughter in our eyes
as rain fell from autumn's skies.
Too young to know, too foolish to care
was love really, really there?
We each left and went our separate way
nothing remained to do or say.
A memory it stirs and ignites that fire
was it true love or just desire?
