Hearts, flowers, and that desire
appear and disappear so quick.
Not for very long burns the fire.
Love is gone in a finger's flick.
Beyond this day I will love you
though loving words swiftly fade.
We've discovered this love so true
and our life it seems has been made.
Though this day comes and goes
and tomorrow may not be ours
I pray this love eternally grows
far beyond the cards and flowers.
