I glance out the window
Where the “melancholy waters” rest
My imagination sees an amazing sight
Edgar Allan Poe’s City in the Sea.
Thinking of you, images of you
Think… Thoughts of you, images of you
When we met that night
My shyness hit again
You showed me that guys are not
That scary to talk to
Thinking of you, images of you
Think… Thoughts of you, images of you
In my mind, staying with you
Did you know I was in the heavenly, mysterious city?
I thought you were the one
I could be happy with, what is happiness?
Thoughts… thinking of you, thinking of you
Your happiness sustained me
Did you know you meant so much to me?
I thought you were the one
I could trust, what is trust?
It happened so unexpectedly
It wasn’t, or was it my naivety
I hadn’t a clue what was going on
There wasn’t or was there a decent explanation
What happened? What occurred between us?
When we fell apart, what happened?
What did you do? What occurred between us?
Will we be friends again? Did you like me?
What did you do? What happened?
What occurred between us?
You stop talking to me, was there a reason?
What happened? What occurred between us?
When we fell apart, what happened?
Did you say you didn’t want to hurt me?
Then why did you hurt me so badly?
