I Fell In Fall

My memory's not so good at faces,
just dates and times and facts and places,
but there's a few things I recall
about what happened in the Fall;

the way the stars shon in the skies,
the look inside your big brown eyes,
the way they looked at me that night
and how I've never felt so right,

how I'd forget the things I miss,
get lost inside a goodnight kiss,
in fact I'm glad my memory's bad,
for now it doesn't make me sad,

as, though it can't recall your face,
it does the smell of your embrace,
and know the next time that we meet,
love at first sight again I'll greet.
