Trance Romance
I watch you sleeping next to me,
these things I cannot hide.
Tomorrow is our wedding day,
our destinies entwined.
But what to do? Oh! What to do?
When nothing's right at all?
Before they let me kiss the bride,
our fates may hit the wall.
I fear for us, we've grown so close
that you are my whole heart.
No man can live without his heart,
so we cannot live apart.
But what to do? Oh! what to do?
I think I've found the thing.
We'll fly so high we'll touch the sun,
but never burn our wings.
My tongue is like a razor-blade,
my lips a lot like knives,
so let me lick your little wrists, and then
I'll kiss the bride.
