How do you react to making the wrong decision? Do you feel guilt to just move on or something else?

My best friend was the most popular boy in school.

Some may even go out to say he was cool,

but at times I thought him to be a fool.

Taking him for granted made me into a tool.

His girlfirend was everyone's desire.

She some how caught every boy's admire,

and even lit my fire.:

And thus began the story of this wildfire.

I blame it on being sick of placing second;

as the follower I functioned.

And I wanted to become a legend...

which then look me even lower, to be ruined.

I worked to unravel the things of my life,

I cut my best friend's reputation with a knife.

And soon made his girl my wife.

And my own problems soon became rife.

It began with stealing the girl,

and then all began to whirl.

The beginning included her personality making me hurl,

and the friedship with by best friend uncurl.

From then on, the world turned on me.

Everyone seemed to immediately agree:

Evil I must be.

All I wanted was a change badly.

I now have nothing left.

It was all because of this theft.

And to my friends and life, I was deft.

There was something missing...something that made me bereft.
