Arcadia's Keeper

For her

She is a princess,
Empress of my fantasies.
Each and all the rivers
That make up my dreams
Flow to reach her sea.

I was a peasant.
Dour and unpleasant,
Until she crowned me
under the porcelain crescent
Moonlight glowing decadent.

She makes me feel just like a prince.
Away the blackened spots of nightmares
She did rinse.
Every time she says I love you
It's a priceless gem she gives.

Now Arcadia couldn't be sweeter
Till in her arms I'll greet her,
And in her crystal eyes I'll fall deeper.
Feeling her touch my heart is grazed with meteors.
An angelic butterfly is my soul's only healer.
