Moon Beams.

Poetry By: Poetlife

I love the full moon, as I lay in bed one moon-filled night, loved lying there bathed in moon beams mellow glow, longed to be held by arms I love and know.
I felt tears of a long distant past, fill my eyes and heart.
I call it beam bathing.I had just moved away from everything I knew and loved, to a new location alone.

Moon Beams.

(c) 10/10/1997. By Poetlife.

Moon beams,

Crept into my window,

Over my bed

Filled the room

Gentle, mellow glow.

Holding me,

Like you used to do.

I lye here now alone,

I think

About you,

Gone from my arms/ life.

Stars twinkle brightly above,

In dark velvet sky,

Think about you.

A night bird calls near by,

Rushing to the shore

Once more.

My heart, spirit

Filled with memories,

Our love, once so new.

Now alone,

I weep and pray.

I think

About you.

If only you were still here,

Romantic scene

Moment in time,

Bathed in moon beams,

I am alsone.

My love

We will meet again.

I still love

I think

About you.
