You're a girl.

You're

Dressed in a tornado girl.

You're

Fly so low the bottom of the boat scratches the rocks girl,

You're

Fall so high you can't see your windows in the cloud girl,

You're

Sand who falls through the cracks in my fingers girl,

You're

The bus I fall asleep on the back of and miss my stop girl,

You're

67 apartments in one complex girl,

You're

Flower I stop to take a picture of because it's too beautiful to pick girl,

You're

A perfect suburb house with a family fighting inside girl,

You're

The sun who sinks and makes the sky pink girl,

You're

The favorite shirt I got a stain on and left at the dry cleaners girl,

Now I want you back.

You're ma's girl,

You're sister's girl

You're friends girl,

You're her girl,

You're my girl,

You're nobody's girl.

You're

Dressed in a tornado tsunami hurricane girl.

But…

You're

the ripple-less lake reflecting a perfect blue cloudless sky girl,

And

you're just a girl.
