Why not, and whoever said, I should not dream?
I am alive, and I dreamt aloud, for I was feeling bored,
Yet, I fell unto the confusion, and for a moment I fell dead
Until he reached downward, just to pull me upward.
I promise to feel again, and to you, this I will give
My hand to you, as I rise above, and against the wind,
While the air is beating me down, I strive to move
Toward the light, awaiting me, from where you stand.
Please stay beside me, and dare I choose this
My defender, you came to be, as I wearily awaited,
For all eternity, just to save one single sacred day
Until I became convinced by all the words you'd said.
You made me think, and in turn, I caused you to feel
No one is lost anymore, not even in the cold of morning,
Come the night, and the deadly darkness breathes
But alone I am not, and in my heart there is no mourning.
