Glacial Adoration
Lips are blue
Strange on you
My soul burns
As
My stomach turns
Are you dead? or asleep..?
This I ponder
As I weep
My heart learned long ago that it must love so that it can grow..
My heart learned long ago that it will perish at the end of all we know
Now that I see you here
Lying before my lifeless eyes
I begin to despise
His bloodied knives
I look up into the sky
Gaze upon the northern lights
And as I look back down
(Nothing can save us now)
Lips are blue
Mine are too
If you die
Then
(So shall I)
(You notice me)
(And try to smile)
It'll all be gone
In a while
All this hate, will go away
The brightest stars
All shall fade.
