I am may always be the pawn, but she'll always be more than my queen
She shines with a radience that only by mine eye is seen
And though everyone thinks him always cheerful and friendly, you'd have to look in his eyes when his guard is down
in his eyes all the pain and sorrow he's been through, hidden beneath those green eyes with a tint of brown
She hopefully knows that I'd cross that bridge If the chance remains,
Even if it means being licked by the tongues of flames
I used to be a cobbler living in the streets, avoiding all social contact with others, especially since those that scorn, their own streets I mend
Knowing already that they'd never stoop down to compassion, for they live beneath a mask of pride. I never dreamed of seeing care they'd lend
Until I ran into those conflicting emotions since I first saw you that you began to send
Watching you never lose your temper, always being fair and just, taking the good and bad and making them blend
Now I'm one of those twinkling shooting stars, flying with my angel
Across this uncharted ocean I'd row
Just to reach this love that you unwittingly sew
Lest you deem me worse than truth can show
Playing my songs is the way I cope with life
Listening to songs take away all my strife
When Together, you show me a tangible sense of heaven, apart I'm crisping in hell
Even then I'll be able to hear when you call, hearing your voice clearer than a polished bell
I'd never willingly let rain fall into your life, I'd never tell you a single lie,
I'd never leave you behind, I'd never give an excuse to cry
I'd be the brightest star 'neath the sky to light your way back on the darkest night
You're so hot that I'll never be able to compare. If anyone ever gives you trouble, tell me and I'll smash their face
Your so beautiful, that I don't know why you'd try to impress me with lies. You don't need any makeup, nor any lace
I look upon her as a noble gift, a flawless diamond surrendered to me from the heavens, all of what I could ever need,
All that is left is to plant love's young, budding and vibrant seed
Maybe I'm lonely, and that's all I'm qualified to be,
Maybe I'm just looking for friendship, and a sense of belonging, who knows? We'll have to wait and see
Maybe I'm crazy, and maybe half out of my mind
But no lack of compassion from me will you find
every time I look at the moon, I see your face within it's radience and I contemplate about what it'd be like to kiss those ruby lips
And that is just the iceburg's tips
I would search thru midnight's inky darkness To see your face
Forever means nothing To live without you, I'm just a lonely bystander in love's and time's race
But one thing is for sure, there's no denying these feelings I have when I hear your name, and I just have to think about how lucky I am to have you
And I believe that you're a fallen angel, and I'd help you regain your wings, so that we may fly off into the sunset, together… all I say is true
