Goodbye to you,
Goodbye to me,
Goodbye to what we used to be;
Although we've tried, with all our might,
It's a shame we couldn't over come this fight.
A love was lost, but a memory saved,
If it weren't for the problems, we'd never of caved;
And I won't lie, I'll miss you so,
It took all of my strength, to let you go.
I'll miss your touch, your bright, young smile,
Your soft, blonde hair and how you'd walk a mile,
to comfort me, in the pouring rain;
My friends always said "He must be insane".
But still I love you, for all you are,
We've been through so much, and come so far.
So I hope that one day, things might change,
Because being without you, feels a little strange;
I'll keep a place for you, safe in my heart,
For the connection between ones first love, can never be torn apart.
