Broken - Feel Nothing

Poetry By: Shea Ryhai

I think it's pretty easy to get from the title. This is about how two peole can be in a relationship, and one doesn't care about hurting the others feelings pushing them away. Then when the hurt person makes the decision to leave, suddenly the other expects them to feel? Drawn from personal experience, hope you enjoy.

Broken Feeling

By Shea Ryhai © 2009

So how come this time

you're telling me to feel.

Like every time before

was never real. . .

Sorry I'm so cold,

these flames ran out of air.

Is it convenient for you now

to show you care. . .

Stone cold face . .

Trying to escape this nightmare.

Blocking you while flinching,

at sounds everywhere.

Why should I stay here?

When my love has turned to hate.

Every warning I sent you,

was grasped to late. . .

Go ahead call me cruel names,

poison every feeling left.

All those times you pushed me down,

you'll soon regret. . .

These burning eyes. .

Wanting to break from this despair.

Heart's glass case cracked,

choking for clean air.

Tell me why I should forget?

Why I buried this inside.

The guilty one was always you,

don't even try to hide. . .

To youthat painmeant nothing,

but it nearly broke my mind.

To find love was so cruel,

and you so blind. . .

Speaking a Name. .

All this rage breaks from nowhere.

You could change,but somehow,

I don't even care.

I hope you die slowly, cold to the bone.

Do you sleep well knowing. .

I'm not the one alone.
