Fading Away
I would wonder if I mean something to you
Say it with honesty, please say it with truth
Years passing and it’s a difficult time today
Because of the circumstances fate has made
Remembering the dearest childhood days
Of when we played and sang all of the way
Stumbling on each other, we would laugh
It became a memory, a treasure I still have
Reliving the days aren’t the thing anymore
No more smiles, only the souls who are sore
Moving on is something I’d never dare to do
I believe that our friendship is very much true
Days have gone, nights get colder everyday
Once talkative, I no longer have words to say
Found someone else to replace my persona
With no idea of how much I’m crying out loud
