Rose petal stairs
Leading to the heavens above
Soft to the touch
Never enough
Rose petal stairs
Lead me to an angel like you
Forever forever
It leads me to the stars

Higher and higher they go
Past the heavens and stars
To the place only angels can go
Rose petal stairs
Why do you fail me now?
Right when I’m in reach
Right when I can see my angel
Rose petal stairs
Wilting away
Like they were never there
Leaving me falling
Rose petal stairs
Turning black as night
And disappearing
Leaving me falling for my angel
Rose petal stairs
They and gone
Leaving me falling
Harder than ever before
