White snow
White dress
Clear rain
Clear tears
Red flowers
Red stains
A hurting memory
A hurting inner pain
A blue bird
Sang a sad song
A blue box
With sad letters inside
A music box
Rang like wedding bells
A quiet voice
Whispered "I do"
A head fell
On white snow
Rain drops
Fell and washed the tears away
Red roses
Fell on a new grave
Red stains
Fell on a new dress
A widow before her wedding day
Laid on her husband to-be grave
By law they died unwed
But in her heart
They died as husband and wife
White snow
White dress
Clear rain
Clear tears
Red flowers
Red stains
A loving memory
A loving inner pain
Never let her forget
That her life meant nothing without him
When the letters were opened
And read
Each one had been written after he was dead
Saying 'sorry
"I tried going on
But the pain was too much to bear
I have to go there
Some where
Where you are"
White snow
White dress
Clear rain
Clear tears
Red flowers
Red stains
A wedding memory
A wedding memory forgotten
The only one that was there
Is dead
She was buried
Far from his grave
In a black dress
With the same roses
She held when she was married
Now theyare red and black
Red with blood
And black with death
No one was at the ceremony
She had no family
But beyond the human eye
They were their
He held her hand
He wore a tux
Her a white dress
They held a rose
Between there hands
It was as white as the snow
That laid on there graves
