Poems of Love

Poetry By: springsun
Romance

A small collection of poems exchanged between my boyfriend and I in 2010. There are a few more, but these are the ones I wish to share, at least for now.

These were actually sent over mobile messages.
All the dates and time sent/received are added, as well as who wrote it.
Some of them are replies to the others, some are not.

They are from the everyday life, and some are spontaniously written, due to sudden inspiration...
The first three are from a time when we were separated for quite a number of days...

Hope you are able to enjoy them.

1 September 19:56 (from him)

Another day passed,
But just half way there,
This isn't going fast,
Now is when I want you near.

My day has been pretty plain,
You know- without you my dear,
Hope you had something to gain?
Hope there was nothing to fear?

My day has been pretty plain and grey
I miss you too much, my dear
These days will pass, either way
But I still long to have you near

3 September 09:48 (from her)

My mind is scattered in pieces
Every piece longs for you
This pain never eases
Not till these lonely days are through

Trying to focus in class
Forcing my mind to keep on going
Feels like walking on broken glass
When all I want is to end my longing

Winter is coming,
Darkness appear,
Life is numbing,
Hold tight to the dear.

The creeping shadows,
Challenging the weak,
Don't sit by the windows,
Sickness might leak.

Winter isn't all good,
Remorseless as it is,
But the price that I could,
Risk for its good is worth its bliss.

Let's be up for the challenge,
It might break us down,
But we can salvage,
Yet- compared to us- Winter is weak- Enjoy the moon.

13 Desember 00:23 (from her)

Thoughts of you
Warm my heart and soul
Your sweet words
Give more warmth than both wood and coal
