I can't tell you how much I miss you,
I can't tell you how much I love you,
I can't tell you how much I want to see you.
I just want to run into your arms and I want you to hold me tight,
I want to see that bright smile and your unshaved face,
I miss those faces you would make to make me laugh.
Tell me distance won't be a problem anymore,
Tell me I'll see you before another year passes by.
Before I miss another Christmas without you,
Before my pillow holds my burden at night again,
Before all those pretty flowers wither,
Before my heart starts to bleed for you,
Before all those children grow a little taller,
Before another grave is dug.
Just tell me I'll be back in the arms where I belong.
