I wonder why

 

Half the time I even try

And take myself backward

Though I’m trying to go forward

Ending up always in pain

 

Making life a bloody game

You taunt me so sometimes I think

Saying it will take us from the brink

Ever saving me from the day

Life will take us separate ways

Forgetting me forever
