Memories from past show your flashing images,
Those poems, those messages, those late night calls, now it feels like ages,
After so many efforts still you are on my memory pages,
Do you remember or have forgotten the different stages,

That we passed with hands in hands together,
And said that we will be each other's forever,
But you left me when we had to face a tide of rough weather,
Oh do you remember me or not, the Familiar Stranger…………

I don't know how my all qualities disappeared for you in a flash,
The qualities for which you were proud on me are now in trash,
Were you blind or now there is something in your eyelash,
I still can't believe that my feelings are now just a piece of ash,

Can't you see that below your feet lies my love's feather,
Did you think before hitting my heart with a belt of leather,
You left me when we had to face a tide of rough weather,
Oh do you remember me or not, the Familiar Stranger…………

You always said that nobody can ever take my place,
Now why are you avoiding me, look into my face,
You say that one should move on in life with pace,
It's okay then but from my life delete your trace,

Listen oh my dear 'life-changer',
You didn't think twice before leaving my heart in danger,
You left me when we had to face a tide of rough weather,
Oh do you remember me or not, the Familiar Stranger…………
