Enjoy Love While you Can
*an AABB pattern poem*
As he cries next to my bed
He said:
Don’t leave me,
I don’t know how I’ll be.
I was an idiot
And if you’ll stay,
I’ll pay for it.
I love you,
And I will always be true.
To you my love,
My pretty little dove.
And I said:
I’m sorry I cannot stay.
But I will forgive you
If you will forgive me too.
For leaving,
And deceiving your pleas.
As I sigh
And I lie on my bed,
I take one last breath
And close my eyes to my death.
