It had been easy before,
It had been bearable,
See,
My dark heart hadn’t seen the shining of light,
But then it caught a glimpse of it,
Through you!
And now it is restless,
It looks for the glimpse all over,
It searches with a vigour that hurts me,
But I can’t control it,
And it can’t seem to find the light anywhere else,
I feel it’s darkness grow everyday,
I feel it call out to you,
It is dangerous in your absence,
A danger to me and all around me
It is not right,
You should have shown it the whole light,
Or no light at all!
You should have stayed.
