LITTLE SPACE WITHIN YOUR HEART

Watching from a distance, I monitor your every move,

The radiance on your face shows the happiness you feel

The smile in its place, and the love in your eyes,

As you look into the eyes,
Of the woman in your arms.

I have hoped it was me,

I have dreamt it was me,
But that was never meant to be,
And all that I could do was sing that,

Here I am,
knocking on heavens door,
Calling out to you to take me in,
For I know that I’m no angel,
And I’ll never ever be close,
But I hope that you will understand,
That am not asking for much,

But just a little space within your heart.

Watching from a distance, the pain all seem so strong,

The shadow of darkness, just seems to draw you in,

The pain in your eyes and the tears on your face,

As you look into the grave,
Of the love of your life

I have wished it was me,
I have prayed she be me,

So the light can shine in your eyes again,

But that was never meant to be,

And all that I can do is say that

Here I am,
knocking on heavens door,
Calling out to you to take me in,
For I know that I’m no angel,
And I’ll never ever be close,
But I hope that you will understand,
That am not asking for much,

But just a little space within your heart.

She was the light in your life that should never be dimmed,

She was the love of your life that will never be replaced.

I know

But I have waited for long, and time just seems to go on,

Yet all I want is a chance for you to take me inside your heart.

I swear I’ll ask for nothing more,

Than just a little space within your heart

Thanks a lot Brooke.

Dee..as you know music on guitar and song writing is
the better part of me..the lyrics above have meaning and depth, and to convey the stringing together of the words with musical rythm and notes would take some brain bashing..I can see it working with a stringed orchestra and a Shirley Bassie approach..FOR FUN IM GONNA SIT DOWN ON THIS AND OVER A FEW WEEKS SEE WHAT JAM WE CAN ADD,Tis a nice composition.
