The winter wind blows cold against the window panes

The fires dies and ice embraces me

The lighht receeds as if in shame.

I would call but there's no one to hear my plea

My breath appears before me

Pale phantoms prance across my face

I wonder when I will cease to be?

my dress is snow and cob web lace

I hear a knocking at my door

I hope for an angel from the heavens above

He's beautifull and my spirits soar

But a voice inside says dont fall in love.

He works for his keep and we share all we have

The shadow of hope awakens within

This twisted fantasy cuts a strange new path

I try to defy this love, like sin

Even if he's not alive like me

Even though I'm damned if I do

With fangs and a lust for blood, I'll love

With a love that grew where the winter roses bloom.
