CuPiD pLaYeD mY hEaRt

Cupid manipulate my heart
I should have known it from the start
I really thought when it comes to love I'm smart
I can never make it on the top of the hit chart


I know that there are lots of you that I drove crazy
When you read about what I've said in my poetry
But that's what I really feel during that time of the day
And I just can't make the love be here to stay


I don't know why and I'm so sorry
I've tried hard to keep it here
But the love in my heart will find a way
To be free…to be somewhere


Loving your kind is just like a play
It's just like what you've seen on TV
It's fictional…never been in reality
It was never meant to be


I like this person now like no other
I knew, I'd found someone that I been dreaming of
And I know that we will be happy together
And I'm here waiting one more sign from the Lord


I'll let you know when I'll be saying goodbye
No more saying “but” and asking me “why”
I've been through on my heart's long journey
Now that I'd found someone destined for me.
