Your Love, My Delusion

The night you came to me,

It was dark and I felt so cold inside of me

But your gaze made my heart melt,

And I was as vulnerable as I could ever be

Then you held my hand & embraced me in your arms,

I could feel your warmth taking over me

We kissed for hours and made love,

Deluded that the angels from the heavens

were showering blessings on us

We had almost lost the track of time,

When something changed in you,

And you started to leave, Again

Please don't go, I wanted to say,

But I knew nothing would make you stay

For we are two worlds apart,

And will remain so, until the end of time!
