It was a rainy evening along a dark Chicago lane. The bright lights of the strip club stood out amidst the gloomy weather, and beckoned to whoever was seeking refuge.
Rob entered the club, with his head down. He wasn’t looking for entertainment. He simply wanted somewhere to go to.
He managed to get a seat right in front of the stage. It was a great seat if one was interested in the strip act in front. Pity he wasn’t though.
“Ladies and gentlemen, please put your hands together for the lovely Silver!” a booming voice announced as a girl, dressed in a rather skimpy silver angel costume walked onto the stage, complete with fake wings and a silly bow and arrow.
She was supposed to be a seductive cupid, but really, everyone was simply waiting for her to take her clothes off.
As part of her act, she had to ‘shoot’ her ‘arrow’ to someone in the audience. As luck would have it, her weak shot found Rob in the first row. Rob was taken by surprise, but he still had a frown on his face.
She beckoned him to get on stage, which Rob reluctantly did. He certainly could do without the attention, but maybe it would take his mind off his problems.
Silver proceeded with her strip act, eventually wriggling out of her angel costume and gyrating her naked body against Rob. The crowd hooted and whistled, but Rob still had the same worried expression on his face.
Soon, it was all over, and the club emptied. Rob went out into the pouring Chicago rain again, looking for another place to go.
“Hey there”, a voice called out from behind.
Rob didn’t turn around. He didn’t want to. He just wanted to go somewhere else.
The pitter-patter of high heels running followed, and suddenly, he felt the rain stop.
Someone had held a coat up to shelter him and prevent him from being drenched. He turned around. It was Silver, the stripper.
“Hey there.” She repeated.
“Hi.” He muttered softly.
“You don’t seem so happy for someone who’s just had a girl perform a strip act on him.” She mused.
“Yeah, well.” He was reluctant to offer any answers.
“I’m Silver. What’s your name?”
“Rob.”
“Is anything the problem Rob? You seem troubled.” She asked in concern.
“Yeah. I was retrenched, my home’s been foreclosed, and my wife left me. So now I’m jobless, homeless and loveless.” He finally opened up.
“Aww....” Silver felt a degree of sympathy, as she finally realised the reason behind Rob’s moodiness.
“Are you, like, heading anywhere?” she asked.
“No idea really. Anywhere you can suggest? For I have nowhere else to go now.” Rob sighed in resignation.
Silver thought for a bit, before she suggested,
“How about you pop about my place?”
“Alright, I guess.” Anywhere was fine for Rob.
And so, Silver brought Rob to her apartment. It wasn’t very far from the club, and it was a very small, public housing block.
Silver’s apartment was very small. More like a room in fact. It had a double bed, TV, closet for her clothes, the usual lamps and a bathroom. That was it. It looked exactly like a hotel room in fact.
“Hey, do you want to take a shower? Get out of your wet clothes or something.” She offered as she turned on the shower and started to wriggle out of her own clothes.
“I, erm...”
“Come on. Let’s shower together. Otherwise you’ll freeze.” She prompted.
Rob was indeed freezing. He had been drenched in the downpour, and his clothes were soaking wet. Strange as it might seem, Silver’s suggestion made sense.
He felt a bit awkward as he stepped in with her inside, but she reassured him,
“Don’t worry. You’ve already seen me naked anyway. And I’ve seen lots of dicks myself.”
Silver was a very pretty 20-something, with a cute face with rounded cheeks. She had smouldering eyes which she probably put to good use in her act, and her long black hair had tints of brown in it. She was a very sexy girl in her own right, without the need to be a stripper.
“Come on man. Cheer up. You’re having a shower with a stripper. Surely that’s gotta brighten up your day somehow.” She was ever positive, which did cheer him up a little.
She gave him a hug all of a sudden, which took him by surprise. But it was a pleasant one. He really could do with one. It made him felt wanted, like at least someone cared.
“Thanks so much Silver.” He whispered in her ear.
As their bodies came together, they felt a connection between them. There was something about Rob that attracted Silver. Probably not his looks, for one could only really describe it as average. But it was just something, something that she couldn’t pinpoint exactly, that was so endearing to her.
She looked up, right into his eyes. She could see a glimmer of hope in his despairing eyes, like there could be something better ahead for him. Or maybe it was just relief, relief that someone was there for him in his period of crisis.
As their eyes connected, they felt some tension between them. Their faces moved slowly closer towards each other, and soon enough, they were engaged in an intimate kiss.
“Hey, I don’t have any extra clothes.” Rob pointed out after the shower, slightly embarrassingly, as they made their way towards her bed.
Rob looked into her eyes again. Those smoking, dark, black eyes, there was a positive glint in them, which made him feel at ease. It made him feel lost in them, and forget his worries for a moment. They didn’t even realise they were naked.
“Well,” she purred, in a seductive husky voice, “we probably won’t need clothes tonight.”
She leaned in again, and her hands caressed his face as she brought his lips towards hers.
Soon, they went under the quilt, kissing much more fervently and intensely than before. It was different now. In the shower it was a slow, sympathy kiss. Now, they were really into each other.
And of course, a naked guy and girl in deep heat, madly kissing each other, eventually leads to you-know-what.
Silver knew how to give guys a good time, given the nature of her job. And she certainly did give Rob a fantastic time as they made passionate love all through the night.
The next morning though, Rob woke up to the pitter-patter of raindrops knocking on the window. Silver was nowhere to be found.
He found an envelope and note on the dresser table beside the bed. The note read,
“Dear Rob,
I had a great time yesterday. I certainly won’t forget the night we had together.
I’m sorry I didn’t tell you this earlier, but I didn’t find the chance to do so yesterday.
I’m leaving to perform in a club in Los Angeles today. I’m not sure when I will be back in Chicago though, but it probably won’t be soon.
Inside the envelope is $5000. It isn’t much, but it’s all the money I’ve earned while I was in Chicago. I hope the money will be useful to tide you over as you look for a new job and get your life back on track.
There is also a set of keys to the apartment. The apartment’s now yours, so that you have somewhere to stay for the time being.
I’m sorry for leaving you so suddenly, but I do wish all the best for you.
Take care, and hopefully we’ll meet again someday.
Love always,
Silver”
As he finished reading the note, a teardrop rolled down Rob’s cheek.
There truly are angels on this Earth.
