The Shock of Beauty

Short story By: BounceAround
Romance

Dedicated to my ex. Well I wrote it when we were together, haha. If you've read any of my work before, I'd say it is safe to say that I like thunderstorms, seeing as though there is another story which involves storms. [Written August 27th, 2009 without editing since then.]

A cool breeze brushed through her hair as she sat snuggled up against the chest of her lover. They lay on a couple of cushions while sitting on a wooden swinging couch  which hung from thick ropes from the ceiling. The chair began to rock with the wind from the supercell storm which was churning in the view of the young couple. The thick cumulonimbus incus cloud was beginning to sweep its way closely towards the two sitting under the patio of their summer home in the countryside of the state New Mexico. She pulled up her legs and nuzzled her significant other as her held her tight against his chest. She looked up into his chocolate eyes as he looked down into her ocean blue glow to her eyes. She then received a kiss as he bent his head lower to her lips. Almost as if the two of them created an electric spark, the first bolt of lightning tore through the clouds and hit the grassy plains. 12 seconds later a heavy tumble of thunder erupted through the sky. The two looked out onto the horizon, and in unison they both thought “it’s here, the storm is finally here”.
————
Brian was taken aback as he kept a steady gaze out towards the heart of the storm which was pooling in quickly towards his sturdy summer house. Dianna kept breathing easily against his chest, not once losing her rhythm while watching the tempest consume her soul. She was truly beautiful; her blue eyes reflecting the white light striking through the sky, while her tender pursed lips sparkled as the breeze brushed along them. He couldn’t keep his eyes off her now; the storm was just background noise while he watched his future wife take in every bit of her view. No longer did the storm take his breath away, but now it was the woman under the warmth of his arms.
————
Dianna began to feel the hair on the back of her neck stick up, which caused her to shiver, and she tried to move closer toward Brian, but it didn’t seem to be achievable. She was as close as she possibly could be. Although his hold on her did get tighter; his strong bear arms holding her in place as her body formed against his. They fit perfectly together. Their moldings meant to be. He brushed the tips of his fingers along her biceps for a brief moment, then he moved his left arm from her back and picked up a fleece blanket with a pack of wolves woven into it. He then covered up both himself and Dianna, and then he placed his arm around her again. His soft touch made her feel incredibly secure from whatever was headed her way in the long run. She never wanted to be left alone when he was around. He was like an angel from above. Her very own guardian angel.
————
Approximately six years ago, they met. Some may say it was the most interesting way to meet, but others would say that they were tampering with fate. Although her very own uncles met in such a way. In the first decade of the 21st century, they began talking. They never knew that just a few chats over the internet would lead to something truly beautiful. It was as if one of the two was a seedling, and the other was the soil. With the rarity of rain and sunlight causing the seedling to grow and then blossom into an amazing plant, that is exactly how their relationship was. Within a year of meeting one another over the internet chat site, the two planned to meet up in person, and it was like love at first site. Although they both knew exactly what each other looked like. The wonders of technology allowed them to see one another through the net and mini camera’s which were then called “webcam’s”. They both owned one of their own, which helped them to know each other in an easier fashion.
Before ever meeting one another in person though, and actually falling in love with each other, they just talked freely. All they ever said was that there was a mutual liking, never anything more. They wouldn’t allow anything more. Because the internet was a false thing, which followed heart aches and unfaithful relationships. They didn’t want to be caught up in a mess which would lead to tears and true sadness. Therefore the mutual feeling they both felt for each other was kept at a hushed tone. Then of course when they did meet eye to eye, they still didn’t bother to accept the warmth they both felt when in each other’s company. It wasn’t until two year’s into the relationship that they both admittedly announced their feelings.
Their close friends though, apparently knew that they felt such a strong way towards one another way before the two announced their true committed feelings.
————
She looked up to him, as his eyes fell toward hers. They were locked in a trance for about five minutes, then she dared to move. She slowly glided her left hand up and down his chest. The thin material that separated her soft touch from his skin couldn’t stop the tingling which he got from her touch. She leaned upwards and kissed his gentle lips. Taking full control of her passion and his. Suddenly she couldn’t handle herself, she was struggling to be in command of her strong feelings she had for him. Then she broke loose, and crawled over his lap. She didn’t put her full weight on him, because she vowed she’d never want to hurt him with her own weight. She then cupped his face with both her hands as he placed his hands on her waist; she leaned downward and kissed him passionately. Slipping her tongue into his mouth, caressing hers against his. She had all control over him, like a Sheppard had with his cattle.
She then kissed down his chin, along his jaw-line towards his ear, she nibbled on his earlobe, then whispered sweetly what she wanted to do.
“I want to make love to you, right here right now. I want to unwind the passion I have for you just like the storm is showing us right now”, just as she said that a bolt of lightning hit a tree in the distance. Sparks flew and the tree did end up catching fire. Brian didn’t notice a thing though; he was purely mesmerized by the woman who sat straddling his crotch.
His hand then brushed up her back along her tailbone, then his left hand swept through her long thick brown hair. He pushed her head towards his and kissed her with the fervor she longed for at this moment. Her lips smashed against his and they shared a deep kiss. Fulfilling their wants and needs to be together, but not enough of them. He then slid his hands under her slightly silky summer top; she wasn’t wearing a bra so he freely cupped her petite breasts. Smoothly he placed is forefinger and thumb of both hands on her erect nipples. She moaned inwardly, feeling the heat within her lions. She then felt the hardness through his bathing suit material shorts. The smooth mesh causing a static electricity between the couple. Brian then couldn’t help himself anymore, which is why he lifted Dianna up as she was laying on him and laid her down on the hanging couch swing. He lightly lay down on top of her and slipped off her shirt, taking his off as well. The friction between his lightly hairy chest on her sensitive nipples got both of them excited quite easily. He then eased himself over her again, brushing the hair out of her face with his left hand, and planted an easy kiss on her soft plump lips. She lifted up her head to get just enough of him, but he cheekily pulled away, leaving her wanting more.
