Black River Falls: Part Three

I came to, with a loud, painful gasp. My wide open eyes, staring up at a deep blue cieling as I tried to anaylise what had happend. Honestly, I was at the point where, I did not understand anything going on. The room, was dimly lit by, a rising sun, shining threw a thin, blue certain on a window on the wall left of me. I was covered by a thin, black sheet that was cold, but not empty. I looked right of me, to see, the beautiful night haired man, Nathaniel laying there. Eyes closed, soft snores drifting from him. The thin sheet, covered his body up to his bare upper body. I slowly sat up, sliding the sheet off me, and standing up, looking around at the black, and blue room.

So dark.

The room, the large bed I had been laying on, a desk with a computer, a TV, a closet door, and a cieling to floor mirror on the wall oppisit the window. Everything was so silent, it was erie, the way I only heard Nathaniel's breathing, and my soft foot steps against the dark, wooden floor. My grey shorts still on, but my shirt was gone, and replaced with, a two sizes two big, unbuttoned, light blue shirt, of his. I brushed my hair behind my shoulders, and began walking toward the closed, large dark brown door, with a silver handel.

My fingers, slowly set on it, as I looked back at Nathaniel. I turned it, and it creeked as I opened the door just enough to step out. I sighed, looking around. The sun was shining brightly threw the light cream colored certains out side of the, dark room. The long hallway, led into a large living room, with a fire place. The couches, brown, the floor light carpet. There was large spiral stair case on the other end of the room, and two other doors on each side of the room. I stepped forward, looking around. At this beautiful house, no longer thinking about what to do next, I made my way to the stair case, running my hand along the hand railing, that was smooth, and pure wood, as I walked upward. When I got to the top, there was one door.

I opened the door. Nervously, stepping inside. The room was not as large as the living room, but almost. There sat two black leather couches in the middle of the room, a coffee tabe, a table with alot of different, whiskeys on it. And a large book case, that took up the whole, right wall.

I walked over, running my hands over the book, looking at the sides.

- Morning Waits - - Coralline Journal 1856- - Coralline Journal 1857- - My love Nathaniel-

Then my fingers, ran over a thin, bunch of papers, sticking out from between two books.

I plucked it out, my eyes scanning it. It was a picture on the top. Of a girl, a beautiful girl, with short, dark brown hair, that did not even pass her small ears all the way. Her skin, a perfect olive tone. Her eyes large, and chocolate brown. Maybe 16.

She was dressed in what looked like, maybe 1930's style clothing. Standing, by a sign that said, Grove Pines.

I heard foot steps behind me, and before I could even put the other one behind the others, to look at the next one, or even see, the name on the back, to see who it was. I was hurrying to put them back in between the two books.

" There you are..." The low, deep voice of Nathaniel whispered behind me.

" Yeah, here I am.." I said turning around, looking at him as he was sliding his arms into a shirt similar to the one I had on.

He just smiled and walked over to the table, and poured the contents of a clear bottle into a glass, sitting down in the middle of one of the black couches, crossing his legs.

I couldn't believe him...

" Yeah, here I am! So, would you mind telling me, where I am? And, what the hells going on?" I said, standing in front of him.

He blinked and chuckled, setting his glass on the table.

" At my house, and dont worry, your still in Black River Falls. And, you'll just have to answer that last one, your self.." He smiled, getting up, and opening the blinds, the sun, on his skin. Thats when it hit. Me, if hes a vampire, how was he sleeping? And, why wasn't he, bursting into flames right then?

" You watch too many movies..." He said turning around.

" The only thing, that those movies get right, are the fangs, and sometimes, the way to kill us..." He said rolling his eyes, walking over, and putting a cool finger underneath my chin, lifting it upwards, and looking down at my neck that I just realised, was hurting slightly.

He pursed his lips.

" Thats going to be a problem.."

I looked at him, wondering, confused. He sighed, rolling his eyes again, picking something off the coffee table, a mirror. I looked in it. On the left side of my neck, near the base, where it met my shoulder, were, two red wounds.

I blinked, my lips parting, and he pulled the mirror away, setting it back down.

" Yeah..." He mumbed running a hand threw his messy black hair.

I shuttered, at the thought of him drinking, my blood, also a little scared.

" Your fine Phoebe don't worry.." He whispered, and touched his lips to mine once, for about a second. A felt, a small, tingle run threw my body, to my toes.

" Why do you want me?" I asked, and he took his finger from underneath my chin. Sighed, and sat down on the couch again.

" Its complicated. Its always been, trying to tell you, but for some reaosn, I feel like this time will be harder..."

I sat down next to him.

" Just tell me.."

He walked over, and grabbed the pictures, I once grabbed.

Walking over sitting down.

" Look at these..."

He held the first one out, that I was already fimilar with, then the next, was a girl, with long, waist length black, hair, and fair skin, narrow, green eyes. 17 or 18 years old. 1950's clothes...

The next. Shoulder length, dirty blonde hair, round face. Slightly short, round, child like, hazel eyes. 15 or 16. Standing, in front of a brick wall it seemed. Early 1900's.

I handed them back, and he reached underneath the couch, and pulled out two, paintings?

The first one he handed to me, was another girl, short, pixie cut hair, strawberry blonde, tanish skin. Round, greenish blue eyes. Dressed in a yellow, ankel length dress. 1886 written on the bottom.

I watched as he took it and, put them in order all these girls.

" This is the first one..." He handed me the last one.

Memories running threw my head.

The girl, tall, long, spiraling red hair, silk cream skin, large neon blue eyes. Floor length, dark green gown, corrsetted top. Next to her, was a boy, 18 or 19. With, skin just like hers, large grass green eyes, black hair, combed backwards, few strands covering his face. Dressed in a dark blue soldiers outfit. The girls head rested against his shoulder as they smiled.

" T..thats you!" I said blinking. It was him, but, in the painting man, didnt fit him, he looked more of a boy, younger in ways, that I couldn't find, when looking into his face now.

" Yes..." He took the painting...

" And these are you.."

" WHAT!" I said, baffled, I almost wanted to laugh, but he looked so serious that I did not dare to even smile...

" In 1856, I met Phoebe Coralline, I was in love with her, so much. But I had to leave, for the war. I was going to be back in a year. But, the first month out, I was alone, and I was killed, and turned by a vampire..."

I was waiting for him to go on...

" When I returned, I discovered, that she had been told I was dead, and had killed her self... I was so broken. I commited to many horrible things.."

He looked so pained, I lifted my hand and set it on his left leg.

" You were torn..."

" I was, untill, in 1886, I found her again, but this time, she was born as Phoebe Madiline..."

I blinked...

" She got killed, by the same vampire, that turned me, because he warned me, to stay away from her, and everytime, they were killed..."

" I don't understand.."

" You are all these, girls, are you, the 6th reancarnation, of Phoebe Coralline..."

" You are, insane! I am not a ...whatever!"

" No, you are not, you are Phoebe Coralline.."

My eye browns pulled together.

" Um, last time I checked, I was born 18 years ago, and my last name is Kings..."

He chuckled, then looked at me, seriously again.

" When I bit you, you saw something did you?"

" Uhhhh nooooo..." I said looking around, lying...

" You saw your self, as Phoebe Coralline. You saw, the day, I first kissed you..."

" Nooo"

" You felt it.."

" Okay, maybe I did see something, but your still crazy as hell!"

I said loudly, wanting to, just wake up, from what ever crazy dream this was.

" This is you!" He said, picking up the painting of Coralline.

I shook my head.

" You were Phoebe Corallina. Phoebe Madiline. Phoebe Jesslin. Phoebe Motting. Phoebe Chaslin. And Phoebe Kings."

" Yes, I am Phoebe Kings, and your insane!"

" Stop, trying to make this not real! Because this is so real Phoebe!" He said, loudly.

" Um no..." I shook my head and his reaction startled me.

He grabbed my shoulders tightly.

" Phoebe Elizabeth Cassandra Coralline listen to me!"

When he said that name, I felt every once of me numb, and something in my brain, turned on, and I knew that name, something in me, knew that name better then it knew anyother name in the whole world...

He paused, looking into my eyes, confused by the way, I wasnt saying or reacting to anything.

" You feel it. You felt that knownledge, when I said your name, Phoebe Elizabeth Casandra Coralline!"

He yelled, and I was trying to get out of his hold.

" Every time, I tried to tell the others that they were Phoebe Coralline, but they didn't believe me. I have waited so long to see you again... I can not wait any longer! You have to wake up! You have to let go, of everything, you know about Phoebe Kings. Remember who you are." He whispered, strongly.

" Phoebe Elizabeth Cassandra Coralline! Wake up! I need you!"

Darkness...
