This was inspired by the song " Save Me" By my darkest days. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jnqaBhxG1NA

Save me: Colby watched out her bedroom window, sighing every few seconds as she listened to the birds cherping happily outside. Oh no, she was not sighing with happiness, or because she was calmed by the brightly sunny warm day. She was completely sick of them! She yearned for rain, and clouds. The smell of the wet ground. The flash of the lightning. She hated when the days were short and bright, full of fun, and laughter. She wanted long, brought out days of rain, and sighs. That was the only way she knew everyone else would be as sad and full of hate as she was, everyday of her life. She could hear her brothers outside playing kickball in the front yard with their freinds. She had no idea why she ever though of them as brothers, when in truth they were just part of the family that had tooken her in. More or less friends. Less most likely.

" Colby, why dont you go outside and enjoy the day?" Her mothers soft voice came from a few feet away on the light blue couch. Colby turned her head away from the window, and blinked boredly at her mother.

" No." She said flatly and stood up, not caring about the frown that had tooken her mothers white smile from its place. She crossed the room, and made her way down the hallway, covered in pictures of her, Nate, and Leon as little kids. Which annoyed Colby very much, she didnt need to see how mortaly sad she was as a child also. She could hear her mothers whisper behind her.

" What is wrong with you Colby" But she knew perfectly well, what was wrong with Colby, no one talked about it anymore. Of course, everyone figured Colby has no idea. But she knew, she knew everything. She knew how she ended up with a new family at age four. She walked into her room, the darkest room of the house. Dark blue walls, and black everywhere. The bed, black, and blue, the carpet black. Its not even worth telling anyone about. All it was was black, and blue death everywhere. She breathed inward smiling slightly, and blinking almost mad for smiling, but then smiled again when she remembered, evil, hate smiles were perfectly fine. She just wished it would rain, and everything would be just fine. She sat on her bed, running a hand threw her long dark hair. She closed her eyes, hearing the thunder and seeing the lightning. She could feel tears in her eyes, as the sounds of screaming got louder, and she could feel the impact of bullet smashing into her dad who was in front of her, protecting her. Her mothers screams a few feet away, and then the killers screams, as the police ran in, shooting at him. Her father would have lived, since he only had one bullet to the leg, but they were not paying attention, just shooting, and she heard his cries for help. She felt him falling, and soon she was on the ground, crushed underneath him. Everything going grey. Blood, lots of blood, and lots of tears. Colbys eyes flew open, and she began to realise she had fallen asleep, and it was storming. She smiled to her self, and sat up. But then blinked, when she heard foot steps, and realised her window was open. She had stood up to go shut it, but she could feel a warm, vibe around her. Which was weird consindering she always wanted to be cold. Warmth scared her. She stopped to listen again, but heard nothing, and could feel the wind on her face. She closed her eyes, and was about to smile, untill she heard in a low, deep whisper.

" Follow me..." She blinked, and stared out the window, and as she heard it again, she could see a dark, tall figure about eight feet away, its back turned to her, and walking slowly away threw the pouring rain.

" Follow me Colby..." The voice whispered again, and instead of wondering who he was, how we knew her name, or why he wanted her to follow him. She slowly crawled out into the storm in her black shorts, and black hoodie. Her feet bare, touched the soft muddy ground and she stood there, feeling the hard rain soak her completely in two seconds. But she didnt bother to be scared, or nervouse. It sounds strange but she had stood outside for hours in the rain, loving the feeling. She couldnt tell where the guy was, and his voice was gone. She knew her yard, knew her back yard. But for some reason she felt lost in the rain. And this was a first. And finally she noticed the large tree in front of her, with the dark figure leaning against it. She could no longer feel the rain, the large abnormal leafs shielding her. The sound of the rain seemed to dim, and yet when she looked behind her it was still pouring. She could now see the guy was wearing black jeans, and a dark shirt, his coal black haired head tilted downward, arms crossed. She stopped a few feet in front of him.

" What do you want?" She whispered, knowing he must want something. And for some reason she was suprised she said this, she never cared about anything. But something told her, she needed to care. Slowly he lifted his head, and his eyes where neon blue, large, and had think long black lashes. His face perfectly shaped, yet he was not beautiful like an angel, but he was handsome, and something called her to him. He spoke again with that voice, that made Colby shiver.

" I am Greyson. And I can help you." He smiled, a crookedly evil smile, that made one appear onto Colbys face.

" How is that?" She had no idea what he was talking about, but she asked anyway.

" I know how youve been struggling. Hating everything... I know what happend when you were little Colby" He whispered taking a step forward. She couldnt breath for the first time, she bwas sc ared, by the dark look in his eyes, yet yearned to know more. " I know, you hurt, how you cry. The pain you feel everyday of your miserable life..." He whispered and set a soft hand on the side of her neck.

" You hurt..." " I hurt..." " How much pain do you feel? How much hate?" He whispered, in a growl. " I feel so much pain, and I hate everyone..." She whispered tears in her eyes. She felt strange talking the way she was. No swearing, no yelling, just the plain truth. " Do you want that to all go away?" " Yes..." " I can help you make that all go away..." " How Greyson?" She said, her voice almost pleading for the answer. He brushed a lock of hair behind her ear. " Like this..." He whispered, and she saw him. She saw his fangs, his eyes, turning darker. And she wasnt scared, it was not like she had exspected it, she knew something was not normal, was not right. She was okay with that. " Do you trust me?" He whispered his lips just barley touching her neck. His other hand on her waist. " I do..."
