In the Corners of My Mind

It is dark in here.... but among the inky, black, abyss, I see a small beacon of light. I linger in my fantasies, where sanity rarely has a grasp on me. I sit quietly in the corner, and refuse to get up from this spot, that I have claimed for my own. Then you walk by, and I'm at a loss for words. I can barely look upon you, for you radiate with such a bright light, it's like looking at the sun. You pass through my mind, and all the bitter frozen memeories come to life and warm this icewater running through my veins, until it boils my blood. You are the inspiration in my realm of the rhyming. You bring me to life, though I am entombed in a dead world, full of decaying minds of the mindless. You are the fire that runs through my veins, and my darkest dream. Come with me, and help make them a reality!
