I sat in my room, attempting to come up with the music to go with the lyrics. Ugh, I said to myself, its never been this hard for me before! I looked over the lyrics again. I had the title and everything but not the music. Margaret was set to come over on Friday and it was practically 5 days before. I started singing the song hoping for a miracle.

Verse 1:

Everytime I see you, my heart pounds in my chest

I can't get you out of my head

Your unreal to me

Verse 2:

The more I see, the more I love you

I love you more than you know

Your stuck inside of my head

Chorus:

Are you gonna be the one?

In my dreams

When I close my eyes

You're all I see, yeah

When you're away,

I always think of you, yeahh

Could you be the one in my dreams?

Verse 3:

I'm so caught up in you

I don't know what to do

You don't know it,

But I'm wrapped around your finger

(Chorus)

Bridge:

You step closer to me, closer to me, yeah

I watch your approach and you lean towards me

and leave me something I'll never forget

Chorus:

Are you gonna be the one?

In my dreams

When I close my eyes

You're all I see, yeah

When you're away,

I always think of you, yeahh

Could you be the one in my dreams?

Are you gonna be the one, yeahhhh (2x)

You're the one

I sang the song quietly when the music hit me and I quickly jotted down the notes and began strumming at my guitar.

***************FRIDAY***************

"Hey Margaret," I said. Margaret smiled at me happily. She stepped into the house quietly. I watched her fluid movement and she caught me staring at her. She looked at me quizically. I shrugged and asked her to come and sit with me out on the patio.

"What's up Rowan? You seem....different," Margaret trailed off in her trilling voice.

"Just listen to what I sing. This is for you," I told her. I began with the opening cords and began to sing. Her plump pink lips opened in the shape of an "O" as I sang on. I refocused on the cords. I finished the last note with a final strum on my guitar. "So? What did you think?" It had begun to rain but we weren't paying any attention to it.

"Rowan, that was so sweet of you," Margaret told me happily, black hair bouncing. "I think I want to fufill part of that song." My heart pounded in my chest. If she meant what I thought she meant... my thoughts stopped because Margaret was pressed against me, her lips on mine. YES! I screamed in my head. The rain pounded on the ground and we were seriously soaked, but it didn't matter in the slightest. I was incredibly happy that day and forever on.
