POV: Jasmine

I am just a normal 14 year-old girl. I’m smart, yet beautiful. My eyes are a beautiful ocean blue, my hair, a golden, beachy blonde. I have everything a teenage girl could want: a perfect family, plenty of friends, and great grades. The only thing missing is a boyfriend. It’s not like nobody likes me, it’s just that I’m looking for the perfect guy, and no one I’ve met have been it. I just hope this new school year holds adventure, excitement, and possibly that perfect guy. But I’m too optimistic, no school year can be that perfect, but, you never know- anything can happen. School starts tomorrow, and it’ll be my first day of high school. I’m so excited! Well, it’s 10:00, I gotta get to bed. I probably won’t sleep a bit. I changed into my pajamas and got ready for bed. Well, maybe this year will be everything I hoped for. I turned out the lights, hopped in my bed, and tried to get some sleep. As I lay in my bed, the one thing I least expected was that my year would turn out exactly as I hoped for. But what I didn’t know, was that I was wrong.
