"Hey there, Sweet Cheeks!", Alex said to his wife, Maggie. She smiled and said," Gracious me, are you calling me Sweet Cheeks..my goodness, you mean to say Sweet Geeks", and began giggling, as she was fidgeting with her thick black square glasses. He just smirked and then asked her, "Is that what you think you are? Cuz you're wrong, babe. If anyone is a geek, it's gotta be me. C'mon all I do is program computer games and play RPGs in my spare time."
"Ha ha, very funny, my Sweet Geek", and she gave him a kiss on his wide forehead. "You are a handsome nerd", then she laughed harder and sat down on the couch, all while tossing the pillows at him. He didn't move. He just stayed in front of his laptop, staring at his game that he was programming.
"I love you, sweetie", he said after a minute or two, all while still staring at the screen. "Okay well I'm going to watch my show now", Maggie said, as she flipped on the TV and turned it on to Degrassi.
It seemed the same thing day in and day out, Alex and Maggie were the Sweet Geeks of the Valley. A nerdy boy and a geeky girl holding hands, all up in love.
"Someday, things are gonna get better", Alex told Maggie, reassuring her that her doctors would find a cure for her illness. She was suffering badly from a chronic pain disorder, but her heart was lit by a fuse of love by her nerdy man, and she knew it what he said was true. She loved him so much that she persisted in finding the help that she duly needed. He was not going to let her go, for anything in the world...
Well, this is a day in the life of the loving couple, and this is an unfinished tale...for Maggie's next appointment with her specialist comes on Tuesday...so I guess we will have to wait and see if their world changes..."If you have hope then you have something worth living for."
