Glass
March 29, 2008
I looked at her through the glass, her hands on each side of her head. Her blonde hair fanned around her. Sarah still looked beautiful. The white hospital gown couldn't even take away from that. The ugly room couldn't take away anything.
I'm writing in my journal as I watched her recover. It's going well, but she still hasn't opened her eyes. Her eyes... oh her eyes.
When I came home from work, she was in the middle of the kitchen floor about to pass out. Blood trickled from cuts that I knew she made, but why?
She told me she stopped. I told her constantly how much I love her because I was afraid that this would happen.
Now it did.

She is better. Her beautiful eyes have opened. Crystal blue, just like I remember. She was scared. Scared of love. Now I know why she did that.
