SITUATION: John work as a caregiver in an aged institution here in Taiwan and after a year Jane arrived in the center and been friends to John instantly.He became a trainor of Jane for everything she need to know about the patients and the whereabouts of things in the center, and also a translator when she can't understand the language here. John shares all the things he knows and for the fact that he is not a veteran worker at the center.Then to their dismay...after 2 months of training the new worker, their schedule change...he's at night shift and she's in the morning...they worked for long hours everyday starting 6am-9pm(morning shift) and 9pm-10am(night shift). It made them feel that the world crashed on her/his shoulder.
Jane can't deny to herself that he missed him so much, same as John to her.He recognized the feeling he felt.He's having a huge crush to the new girl at the center.But he keep it to himself cos it's not right. But not Jane.She sent him a text message telling about what she really feels towards him...but then he can't help not to admit that he felt the same way too.They must stay as friends...John have a girlfriend at the center already and the problem is Jane...and his GF became new best friends at the center...and Jane don't have any idea that it's John's gf, cos it's never been obvious to everyone especially to their fellow worker.
He need to decide and choose who's the one he really love and yet at that time he found out that his gf is cheating on him.So he and his gf talked.He wants to break up with her...it's nice cos she's ok with it and been so sorry cos she admit to John that she's loving somebody already andJohn replied that he knows...his gf asked who's the lucky girl and he replied her "your new best friend" and looks like she's not happy with it and she ran away...
The Story Begin...
John was so happy and she message Jane that they need to talked and that he had something to tell her...and one night Jane is packing her things to go home waiting for John to arrived. They exchanged "i love you" for the first time in person...and they kissed but all of a sudden his x-gf came in Janes room and caught them kissing in the corner, making sure that the patients can't see them...they both embarrassed and ashamed but his X remain silent. day after day they're more so sweet to each other...and one day John is reading his Chinese Zodiac sign and he's born in the year of the rat...and Jane came near him...she started calling him rat but John said it's not cute to listen...he said just call me Mickey...and me your Minnie Jane replied and the burst out laughing so hard...soon they love to call each other Mickey and Minnie and been giving gifts every mousery...it's always something that have a "mouse" in it. They'd been planting a kiss to each other whenever there's no one in sight and if there not busy at work...and then John asked Jane to kiss her in her lips for a minute...not just smack.But Jane is afraid cos they'd been caught last month...but John pursued her...they kissed hiding in the curtain in Jane's patients room...and the Nurse came in...she's shocked when she saw them but them smile and said it's OK...she understand.after the nurse left, Jane is hitting John in the shoulder cos she said they'll going home soon because she's thinking that the nurse will tell their employer cos she's a Taiwanese nurse...they're loyal to the superior.but after 3 months there's nothing happend...she keep quiet.
One day, Jane miss the feel of John's lips over hers...and she said: "Mickey...you look so cute today...i like your smile."by saying these words Jane's eyes at her boyfriend's mouth and John followed. He slowly cupped Jane's face and direct it to meet his gaze.She can't look at him for a long moments because of the butterfly on her stomach and he said "Minnie...i love you and i want to ask permission to kiss you here again in our working place and in our working time...i know we been caught in the act kissing 2x already...maybe not this time..."
He hold Jane's hand...it's so cold...mixed emotions...nervousness and excitement. He pull Jane and said they'll going inside the small wash room located inside the patients room...well at last they kissed maybe a couple of minutes and John wants to kiss her again...but then someone open the door...they forgot to locked it.they're hearts tub-thumping so fast and so loud...but they're very thankful cos it's not their employer... but their female patient with ALZHEIMER...the old lady was frightened seeing them kissing but then John asked her what do you want? She said she's sleepy...she want to go to bed...the lovers smile and looks relieved and wishing...also hoping that she will forget what she just saw...forever.
