Dominic ran to his right as fast as he could, trying to get to the stage where Paramore was playing. Katie screamed in anticipation as the stage lit up and the band took the stage. The song Ignorance started to play and you could hear everyone hollering at the top of their lungs in enjoyment along with people chanting: "PARAMORE!" Dominic started to look at the stage instead of where he was going, tripped, and slid forward.

"Watch out!" He yelled as he slid on his hands against the asphalt.

Katie jumped back, almost spilling her open soda on him and said, "Oh my gosh are you okay?"

"Yeah, just a few scrapes nothing I'm not used to." He stood up and dusted his hand off on his pants. "I'm Dominic by the way but if you would rather call me Dom that's cool too."

"My name's Katie, just Katie." She yelled, trying to be loud.

"I would shake your hand but you know my hand is all cut up." They both laughed. "Shall we?" Katie giggled then they faced the stage and jammed out to Paramore. After the show was over Katie and Dom stuck together and got to know each other.

"So Dominic, what do you like to do for fun?"

"We'll I like to listen to music, obviously, and I really like to skate. Hmm I like to shop, draw, and other stuff I don't really remember. "

"Wanna know something good?" She asked with a smile on her face.

"Why of course." He said humorously looking at her.

"I love to shop, skate and draw. Oh and I like other stuff too, depending on the stuff." She giggled, crinkling her nose and then for the first time Dom stopped to admire Katie's beauty… and got caught. "Umm any reason you're staring in my direction?"

"Uh…" He thought on his feet and quickly thought of a cover up that seemed to make sense. "I was just zoning out, I tend to do that a lot, sorry." Katie's phone stared to vibrate in one of her acid wash blue skinny jeans pocket's. She took out her cell phone, turned around, and started talking to someone for about two minutes. Dom tried not to listen in but he couldn't help but hear a few words here and there and knew she had to go.

When she turned, around she had an upturned face and she looked a little pissed off. They looked at each other both too nervous to ask for a number.

"So I have to go," Katie began.

"Oh well do you think maybe we could swap numbers?" Katie looked as if she was pondering the thought and looked around. Dom started to get even more nervous.

"Is it even a question?" She giggled again then they swapped phones entering their numbers in each other's phones. She gave Dom back his cell then gave him a peck on the cheek.

"Wait, can you text?" He asked, handing back her phone.

"Of course I can. Now I better go or my mom is going to kill me."

They stood up all night texting each other. They talked about their favorite movies which just so happened to be comedy movies along with horror. Both Dominic and Katie were really into music, mainly alternative-punk rockish stuff. They talked about different tricks they could do ontheir skateboards as well as what they liked to draw. Dom called her ateleven and finally got up all his guts and asked her to hang out on Sunday, the next day, to get a slice of pizza.

"So, uh, are you busy?"

"Hmmm, let's see," Katie began, knowing she wasn't busy.

"Let's not play that game again." She started to laugh.

"Nah, I'm not busy. I'll be there at around one. "My mom's coming, have to go, bye."

The next day Katie suddenly remembered her brothers birthday party that had beenmovedto that day. Katie quickly pulled out her phone, texted Dom her address, and told him to meet her there at one instead. At around one o'clock Katie heard the doorbell and went to go answer it.

"Who is it?" She asked, knowing it was Dominic.

"Take a wild guess." She opened the door, they both smiled, and then Dom pulled Katie into a tight hug. "So where is this birthday party we are going to and who is it for?" He asked as he turned; ready walk wherever the party was being held.

"My younger brother Dylan's party he's turning ten. He lives with my dad a few blocks away. So you look cute," Katie said while looking Dom up and down. "Especially the black and white tee with the black and white cap, you have a sense of style.I'm impressed." She pulled at her black skirt and her purplish red spaghetti strap shirt.

"You look cute yourself." She stopped and struck a few poses for him while he pretended to take a picture with his phone and chuckled. Once they got to the incredibly large mansion, Dom stopped dead in his tracks and looked around. There was a half pike and a pool alone with a deck in the back yard. "Whoa, this place is huge." Dom said walking through the house.

"Um, I have to freshen up. If you want the other bathroom is over there." She pointed to the bathroom on the other side of the room. Dom sauntered to the door, knocked on it, and then went in. When he first looked in the mirror, he thought he saw Katie until he put his hand to the mirror and then saw his own reflection staring back at him.

When Katie walked in, she went into her makeup bag and fished through it for her eyeliner so she could fix the smudge under her right eye. While looking through her back she thought about Dom and how many things they had in common. She finally found her charcoal black eyeliner but when she looked up the person standing on the other side of the mirror was Dom. Katie reached out her hand to touch the reflection but there was a sound behind her so she turned around and faced the curtains and when she turned back around her normal reflection was back. They we both falling for each other and fast.

Both Dom and Katie got out of the rooms they were in and met up with each other. She introduced Dom to Dylan and then they talked even more, and yes, that was possible. Dom made due and borrowed one of Katie's old boards not once wiping out, and gave Dylan a few tips on the trick he could not seem to get down. When it was time to sing happy birthday Dylan asked his older sister to stand near him and help him blow out the candles. After counting to three, they blew out the candles together and she pulled Dylan into a hug.

"Happy birthday buddy." Katie said smiling. Dylan ran off to open his presents and Dom snuck up behind her.

"You're such a good big sister." Katie smiled. "I look at you and I see someone who's just amazing."

"It's almost like I'm looking in a mirror when I look at you Dom, because you're amazing too." Katie said, then they put their hands at shoulder level and leaned in. Dominic gently pressed his lips to hers and smiled.

"It's like looking in a mirror."
